Unrelenting grip in the wet

Aqua Channel “Drainpipe” technology actively forces water from the main centre ribs, into the deeper tread grooves where it can be quickly expelled. Advanced surface sipes accelerate this process even more in the new UC7, for improved surface contact between the rubber and road and outstanding grip even on wet, slippery surfaces.
An acoustically refined ride

Noise Breakers in the tread grooves work to quieten the vehicle’s ride, by actively breaking up and dissipating sound waves before they reach the interior of the vehicle. The noise breakers also double as water flow accelerants in the tread grooves, to enable the UC7 to drain water faster than ever before for additional aquaplaning protection.
